Marriage E-Book: The A to Z guide to a Happier, Healthier Marriage. I bought these e-books and printed them out. I gave one to my brother-in-law and his new wife last year. I also printed it out for my friend as a gift. Then I printed it out for me and my husband. I love it because it's pretty short and simple to read. These type of books are the kind I like to read with my husband together. In the beginning of our marriage, we'd read books like this as part of our FHE (Family Home Evening) so that we were focusing and talking with each other. Now that we have 2 kids and been married for over 7 years, we need it more than ever to remind ourselves to focus on our marriage and make it through the 7 year itch and not just focus on the kids. My husband realizes this a lot more now that we have 2 children. He didn't mind as much when we had just the 1, but now having 2 takes a lot of our attention and many times we forget to spend time just us together especially with our atypical schedule. Not only do I love the ideas in here, but I love the simple quotations that go with them. I really believe this simple e-book can be a great reminder for those who have been married for a while and also a good thing to learn early for those who are newly married.

The Ultimate Date Night e-Book This book is amazing!! I love the full color. It just looks so fun and exciting to try when you first get it. There's around 38 dates (I just counted quickly so I could be off) and several aren't on their website.
All the dates are pretty simple and easy to do! They even have all the printables you need for each date! The dates I'm looking forward to are the Cleaning Date (my husband is a great cleaner so I like to pick the the ones he'd most likely do =D - plus he doesn't like getting out of the house much.) and the Minute to Win it Date (I love throwing parties so this would be so fun with friends!). One of the dates we've done is the Sleepover Date. The ones at home are the most likely to get done with my husband - he's a home body.
Many don't even cost much money so that's even more awesome and helpful. You can use a lot of things you already have.
The one hard thing about this e-book is that it has 200+ pages so I can't print it all out at once at a low cost. So I really need to just figure out which dates to try, figure out the page numbers and get those printed so I have it all on hand when I can get a date with my husband. Or I should just print the ones I like out and then when my husband asks what we should do, I'll just give him the options so he can plan it more. =)
Now that we have 2 children, I realize even more how important dating your spouse is so I am grateful for all these ideas so that we can have fun and enjoy each other. We have certainly done better about dating, but it's still not our strong suit to do when we have no family around for free baby-sitting and our schedules are weird to trade babysitting with others.
