Pretty simple outfit for church: purple tank, white sweater (Old Navy) and purple print skirt with my hair pulled half back. I rarely ever pull my hair half back....what do you think?
This is like the longest I've had my hair in at least the last 10+ years.

So here we go with ELEVEN Random Things About Me:
1. Breaking Dawn was my 1st midnight movie I went to.
2. I've never been to a rock/famous band concert.
3. I've had more babysitters in December and January then I've ever had since I've had kids (my son is 3 years old). Swapping babysitting is a lifesaver.
4. I've rearranged my house like 5 times in the last month....more in attempts to fit all my kids' stuff in our small home. Having a girl and boy makes living in a small house even trickier!
5. Laundry has become more despised than dishes. Having 2 kids makes a ton more laundry than just having 1...or maybe it's all the sickness....
6. I don't like diving board or jumping high into water even though I'm an excellent swimmer.
7. I've been planning my baby girl's first birthday since she we found out she was girl!
8. I'm going crazy with all the sickness in my house. January, every week someone was sick. Half the month in February and half the month in March..

9. I desperately miss my extended family and wish I could teleport my family wherever. My parents haven't even met my baby girl who will be 1 next month.
10. I always thought I'd have like 5 kids, but now I might just be good with 2...though I think there's at least one more that we're supposed to have.
11. I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

80th Fashionable Fridays
Here's what I wore just out doing errands.
Again I tried to layer. With it being winter, I put on a long sleeve top and then the striped T (clothing swap) and a brown belt (way old) and then a flower clip (GroopDealz).

Ghostbusters Birthday
My son turned 3 at the end of November. Fall is always crazy for us so I'm just getting around to posting this....late as usual. =) My son turning 3 was a big deal and I kept getting teary-eyed about it. Maybe because he was old enough for preschool, he'd be going to Primary (church children's program), etc. Growing up too fast!
Invite was made by Pickle Doodle Designs that I won on a giveaway! I was planinng on making my own invite, but so glad I won this because she did amazing! Pickle Doodle Designs was fabulous to work with as well. She took my ideas and brought them to life.

Cake
I made his cake again this year. I didn’t do too bad! I used a funfetti mix and then a white cake mix dyed green. Originally the ghost was going to be upside down, but my husband didn't see my vision so I turned it around. I think it turned out a little better thanks to my husband's good eye.
Food
I just kept the food really simple since there would be a lot of kids, more than adults this year. I called the treats Slimer Snacks! We did green Jello, vanilla pudding dyed green to be used a dip for crackers, sandwich rollups: string cheese and ham, and then Slimer Punch: lime sherbet with Lemon Lime Pop.
I brought out the kids picnic table for them to eat on and had a red tablecloth under it to catch crumbs.
One of my favorite pictures of my son from his birthday.
Games
First games was to find all the Lollipop ghosts hiding around the room. Kids found those pretty fast.
I passed out glow sticks and sunglasses to the kids so they could go hunt for ghosts. In another room, I set up a bunch of little glow in the dark ghosts all over the floor and table (from Oriental Trading). I then took the kids to go back there and use their glow sticks to catch the ghosts. Once they felt like they caught all the ghosts, I turned on the lights so they could see their treat bags - Ghost shape Bags (cut from white paper bags) with a Thank You Tag - also made by Pickle Doodle Designs
After they had cake and played some with their treat bags, etc. I took them again to catch ghosts because they loved it so much!
Presents
We then had James open his birthday presents. Many people had asked if they needed to bring a present, so I told them presents weren’t needed but if they felt like they wanted to bring a gift, batteries would be appreciated. =) Several people brought batteries for us - it has been a very useful gift!
Guests
11 adults, 10 kids, 9 babies all in our tiny house! It worked though since I had the catching ghosts activity in the other room.
Our Family and After Party
Pictures of our family during the party. I found the adult Ghostbusters shirts at Kohls online. I got my son's shirt in Utah at Old Navy. Then I made my daughter's Ghostbusters onesie – iron on.
The mess!
Decor
I rarely have time to take pictures of the decor before the party so I usually take time after.
Banner was designed again by Pickle Doodle Designs along with the subway art hanging up.
The Ghostbusters large Logo sign from Kohls online!
Door Sign again designed by Pickle Doodle Designs
We blew up a bunch of red, black and white balloons and just had them on the floor in the house.
Again Subway Art by Pickle Doodle Designs. I quickly made the Slimer Snacks sign.
Attempt at Professional Pictures – taken by Me
Again the Ghostbusters Logo Sign from Kohls.com and the 3 was made by Little K Boutique
We then took some non-Ghostbusters pictures outside on one of our son's new bikes. This motorcylce tricycle I bought used for $8, I guess another birthday present, and we put new batteries in it and it makes awesome sounds. It has blinkers that say Right and Left, vroom vroom noises and a radio. We also got a girl’s 12 in. bike FREE from Freecycle, but it needs another training wheel and the back tire needs air. Once we get that fixed, we’ll try and teach James to ride a bike. Then when we have money we’ll get him a 16 in. bike and give our daughter the girls one. =)
