So all three of us were just lying on the floor last Wednesday night when my husband asks our 19 mo. old son, can you sing your ABCs? We were shocked to hear him actually try it....we heard A ... D ...F, G, H ... and then we started laughing so hard in surprise.
I love moments like these to know that my son is learning and listening to what we're trying to teach him. It's amazing how much they pick up and we don't know right away.

Here's a wonderful message about motherhood too.
It sure lifted my spirits.What a wonderful reminder about my role as a mother. Helped me to remember that I'm doing my best and this is challenging, but God is with me.
My favorite line is "He is blessing you and He will bless you even -- no, especially -- when your days and your nights may be the most challenging..." Something I need to remember during the really challenging times.
Watching this makes me think that I can handle another child someday - no I'm still not pregnant...

It's so neat how much kids pick up. They just soak up new things like a sponge... love it!
