Tried this new recipe I made up a couple weeks ago, and it's so yummy! Honestly I'm not sure how healthy it is, but with salmon in it, I thought it would be good to get in my Omega 3s. =)
Here's the recipe for my
Salmon Tomato Dip
- 6 oz. of canned salmon, drained
- 4 oz. of cream cheese (half a block)
- 1/2 C of shredded cheese (I just used the mild cheddar)
- 2-3 roma tomatoes diced
- favorite seasoning - my favorite is the Omaha Steak Seasoning
Mix all together and eat with crackers. I ate mine with Wheat Thins. I ate about half of it for lunch. This would also be great on a whole wheat bread with some lettuce!
