The orignal blog post, I believe suggested baking it on wax paper and she used large candy canes.
I also used large candy canes, but half of mine were broken so I pieced some smaller ones together the best I could.
I did mine on wax paper at 350 degrees - kinda forgot about it (But it was 5 minutes or less) and was left with flat candy cane hearts - oh well they still turned out cute! I think the original blog post may have said cooking it at your lowest oven setting.
I filled mine with some melted chocolate was the candy canes were hardened again.
